Can you tell me more about The Bus shirts – how often they come up on say Ebay and you mention that shirt set off a bidding war but no mention of what the auction closed for. I appreciate any information.

    Aloha Sally,

It’s been several years, but we sold the shirt on Ebay. From what I can remember, the shirt sold for nearly $200 at the time. We had at least two other “The Bus” shirts, and one also sold for a very high price, and then the last one sold for about $50 (it seems the demand was met). I’m not sure they come up very often, but you can set a saved search in Ebay, and have the auction site e-mail you whenever this shirt comes up for auction. Hope that helps!

TheBus shirts have been around since around 1978. There have been around 14 different designs. In the early days, fabric along with “stick bags” and small duffle bags made of canvas like material were sold to employees. The shirt shown in the picture is from around 1993. It was made by Tori Richard.
